PRIVATE TRIPS!!    Got a group? Get a trip!       Special departures of all these trips for your group -- friends, family, club, company or school groups. Depending on the route and your needs, this can be viable from four and definitely from six people.  With a little time, we can adapt most of above trips to your needs, or put together something just for you.  We understand that different people have different travel styles  - do you want all the trimmings, most of them or the minimum? Ask about different styles for private trips, including budget options that can save you money without a huge difference in quality.

TRIP KEY

WALKING - HIKING TRIPS:
Usually under 6,000 feet altitude but may be higher: if altitude is an important factor it will be noted in trip description. Often walking between towns on old footpaths, cart or bridle paths or even Roman roads. Sometimes on forest or mountain trails with steep or rocky parts, please ask us for more information if this is a factor for you. More difficult days will sometimes have an easier alternative or access to support vehicle during the walk.  Minimum usually 6, maximum usually 14 people. Maximum lower if trip is in challenging terrain or if hotels are very small.
BIKING TRIPS:
Usually on minor paved roads or fairly good dirt roads, sometimes somewhat larger paved roads or bumpier unpaved tracks. Usually the base distance between hotels will be fairly short with optional side routes, to allow cyclists of differing abilities to do the distance they want. Minimum usually 6, maximum 20 people. Maximum may be lower if hotels are very small.
ADVENTURE TRIPS
Trailblazer trips:
Routes that have been fully investigated and partially but not fully tested. Special price for adventurous and flexible travellers with a pioneering spirit. Some routes may use more economical accommodations or some travel on public transportation (check wth us).  Minimum / maximum people: varies, see route description.
 
Back to Basics trips:
Sometimes we offer trips with a minimum infrastructure: some are camping trips, some have no support vehicle for luggage transfer, some use only mass transit instead of a private van or bus. These aren’t routes for everyone but just perfect for a special group of travellers, people who want the intense cultural contact this kind of route gives, or people who prefer to spend less on each trip so they can travel more often!  Minimum / maximum people:  varies, see route description.

1 - Flat terrain. Usually under 5 miles walking or 15 miles biking
2 - Some hills but not too long or steep. Usually 5-9 miles walking or 15-25 miles biking
3 - Rolling terrain, may have medium length climbs. Usually 9-12 miles walking or 25-35 miles biking
4 - Rolling to abrupt terrain, may have longer or steeper climbs. Possibility of minor technical difficulties for hiking.  Usually under 14 miles walking and under 45 miles biking.  
 
DAY COUNT:
First date shown is MEETING DATE IN SPAIN. Days are counted from meeting date to departure date. Due to morning departure of most flights for the USA, usually no activity is possible on last day. Afternoon activity on the first day depends on length of transfer from meeting point to trip starting point.
