Have we got some ideas for your active trip in Spain? Oh my, yes. If you have a group, we can help you put together a trip. Groups of friends or family celebrating an event like a birthday, walking or biking clubs for a trip a bit farther afield than usual, college alumni trips on a trip blending an activity with learning, companies looking for an unusual way to create team spirit..... Let us know what your group is like and what you want. Different levels of help: If you're the independent type, maybe you just need to bounce around ideas for a destination, some tips on where to get quality information, and you'll take it from there. Or maybe you want to sit back and relax, letting Puente do all the pre-trip work and the guiding. Or something in between... Let us know! We can either help you as a consultant on an hourly fee (special deals for volume) or arrange the whole trip for you. |

| Here are some of the ways your trip can be focused: Personalized departures: The best option for your private trip might be a personalized version of a trip we know well. Those are our favorites, the areas we know the best, and the places we can give you the fastest, best service at the best price. We can tweak most trips to fit different requirements: a little longer, a little shorter, a little more challenging or a little easier - or change the accommodations to fit your style or personal budget. Check out the ideas for standard trips and group departures on OUR TRIPS and let us know what you want. On a budget? If you're on a budget, we can often work out a shorter or more economical version of a standard trip using some public transportation and more economical accomodations. This is usually the fastest and most economical way to put together a private trip - ask about ideas for weekend or day trips, perfect for international students. It just might end up being one of your best memories of your experience in Spain. Maybe you'd like a self contained trip, not everyone's favorite travel mode but perfect for others. |

Unusual places: Here
Puente has a big advantage. Twenty years of exploring Spanish highways and byways,
sometimes to places so offtrack that locals ask "Are you lost?" almost before
saying "Good morning". Where they may first crinkle their noses and wonder
why you're there, especially if you're walking or biking, but later warm up when you say, no, you
don't want to go the big-name places, you prefer the smaller places with no
"tourists" and just a few travelers like yourself. Of course, you might not have a five-star hotel or five-fork restaurant in places like that. Maybe nothing in town except a bunch of cows and ten people. Maybe staying at a bed-and-breakfast in a renovated village house means sharing a bathroom for a night or two. But maybe you'll see the brightest stars you've seen in a long time, or drink the best and cheapest wine in the local bar-general store, made by cousin Fred the next town over. So if you're interested, let us know. With a little time we can arrange something pretty special. And don't worry, if we don't think we can give you what you want, we'll let you know. |
| Oh, that independent if sweaty
feeling: Looking at our Photo Galleries, you will see some photos of people
with monster packs or saddlebags. We love travelling like that - but didn't add more
of those photos because it would scare most people off. WE KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE SOMEWHERE! Those of you who don't mind carrying your own gear for at least part of the trip. For whatever reasons: Because it feels more like a "real" trip. Because it slows George down enough so the rest of the group can keep up. Because it's less expensive: that "support vehicle" that makes things easier is a big chunk of the overall budget. Most of our usual routes are easy enough to do carrying that extra stuff. Many of them can be done using more public transportation and less private van or bus, again saving a chunk of money and adding a cultural contact that you won't get sitting in a private van. So if you don't mind a little more exertion to save some money or if you want to up the intensity of your trip to Spain, let us know. |
